89 integra 1.6 good motor?
is that a good motor to swap into a civic? I don't know much about the zc motors. i know the jdm ones have more power, but they also cost more. just wondering.
they are good for the money, and easier to get a hold of than a ZC, just about any junkyard has a 1st gen teg sittin in it. you probably would be better off just getting a d16z/y. cause if you get a d16a3 (i think it is) you will probably have to rebuild it at least a little. you might be able to just get a d16y8 with low mileage that is already in perfect running order.
hey bud i dont think that 89 teg motor fits in the 4th gen civic or crx
i think those are the ones that have a brown top that i hear every one saying that they dont fit correct me if im wrong
also motors that will fit your crx are
d16a6(u.s. si motor)
zc (japanses si motor)
b16a1 (jdm sir engine) this engine also comes in 2nd gen acuras i think not to shure not familiar with acure too much.
there are a couple others that will fit into the crxdo some research and youll see y we are all crx fanatics
