88 (mite be 89) teg RS motor
i have a 93 vx and was walking thru a junk yard and came across a 88 teg RS with a dohc motor in a minor accident. i couldnt get to the motor ID cuz the radiator blocked it due to the accident..u guys know what it is? the car came in 2 weeks ago into the yard and the motor looks clean. im thinking of doing a swap. anything from a d15y motor to anything else is worth it, no?

Re: 88 (dniedacess)
well the 1st gen integra came with a d16a1 I believe and it does not bolt up into the 4th gen civic.. so You may have problems with it in the 5th gen civic... but all you need to make a obd-0 to 0bd-1 is wire harness adapter or do the wiring yourself to either of the obd-1 ecus of your choice.. then a obd1 distributor.. and injectors.. and that Integra motor only put out 118hp or so ...so you may want to skip that and look to other engines for the cheap buy...I know there are a few zc powered egs running around hopefully someone can help
