There is a hybrid forum for this, but the B series will be easier.

H22 would be your best bet but the install will be more tricky. The b18c will be a plug-n-play install and will give you some nice power.

displacement owns j00.

besides, most people who end up doing swaps into civics dont want anything but straight line light to light risapowa!

yeah, but the torque it has will make you not even notice. We've had endless threads about the "myths" of H series engines in Civics. They don't cause mad understeer, they're not noticably heavier, and they're not TOO hard to install.

true...it's not that much heavier either..not for the torque you're getting across
the entire powerband.
get some aftermarket headers and a carbon fiber hood, no AC and no power
steering..no cruise control...that could just about even the weight thing out.

but if it were me, because of the custom **** u gotta do with the H22 swap...
you'd prolly spend just as much on a B18C5 unless u have the hookups.
i'd rather have b series...u can always resleeve to 85mm ....more header
and tranny choices w/ closer gear ratios...and there's nothing like revving really
high
if you do the H22 swap, i'd go to raxles.com for their custom setup for your
axles.

your average person may not notice this, but someone who autox's frequently or does track events frequently WILL notice extra weight up front if they dont change suspension to adjust for such a change. after all, i talked to andy hope at a TCRA event and he said the car definately changed when going from d16a6 to b16a.i dont see why it wouldnt when going to h22.

YEp I agree with EVO
if you run a resleeved B18c5 replace your head gasket with maybe 2.5 mm
say 9.0:1 or lower, run garett t28 roller
youl see start seeing stars at 3 grand and that continues till say 7800 forget the h22 you want usable rpms
