RS*R or SKUNK2 or Apexi N1
which exchaust would you guys go for. I'm going to be building a sohc turbo monster. Just stuff to note my car has ground controls and there wound all the way down so my car is slamed. I think the N1 will scrap. Does RS*R make an echaust for the d16z6. Also i've heard all three and they all have the tone i'm looking for. So power wise weight wise and fit mint issues which one would you guys get. Oh also its a 95 hatchback
Are you wanting a can, an oval muffler, what???
Do you want the real RS*R or the Invidia? The Skunk is the Invidia. RS*R is a totally different company. http://www.rs-r.com/faq.htm
Do you just want the best performer?

my N1 has scrapped occasionally, but if ur careful, its not a big problem, thats the only downside to the exhaust, and i thik the positives abbout it outweigh the negatives

Go with APex N1, I have on my 00si with the GC coilovers, my suspension is adjusted really low right now and I haven't had ground clearance problems.

do the exhaust last, save your pennies. a 3inch exhaust will won't help you until you've got the turbo installed. </TD></TR></TABLE>
RS*R does not equal Skunk2.
Invidia does not equal RS*R either...
I would get a 3" exhaust if I were you... A "turbo monster" needs to breathe.

skunk= Deep, throaty and loud at high rpm
RS*R(Invidia)= Same as Skunk
Apex= Nice at idle but kinda weed wacker sounding at high rpm but in a good way Very unique sound when you have turbo. But dont slam your car because the rear section of the exhaust goes under the control arm.

RS*R = RS*R. They are a japanese manufacturer that used to import to the U.S. When they stopped importing to the U.S., Skunk took over their "U.S. market" and marketed the Invidia as the "new RS*R". You can still get the old RS*R style. There is a sound difference between them. The Invidia is "loud", RS*R is quiet. I have the original RS*R style and will be using it in a SOHC turbo setup ~200whp. IMO, a 3" exhaust for that kind of power is overkill.
I've seen a lot of questions about the RS*R, so maybe this weekend I'll put some pics up somewhere.

the true rs*r muffler is stock in design, the skunk muffler is n1 style. for NA i'd say get the skunk hands down, for turbo get something bigger, i dont tlike the apexi at all though.
Okay well buy the RS*R Invidia Exhaust and READ the box it says it on it. Invdia was actuallly a line of exhaust that was made in Japan by RS*R and only available in Japan. Skunk2 took the Invidia and made it their own MegaPhone Exhaust. Doesnt really matter either one is awsome for N/A. For Boost i'd go with ApexN1 or Thermal.
3inch wont be nice if you pushing alot of ponies.
Apex'i RS serve me well, somepeople told me the tip is too big but
it's quite alright with me..lol
btw i have the 3inch inlet convert to 2.5
