Default Fuel pressure rising on its own???

Lately my car has been idling very low and stalling out at stoplights and i was confused as to why. I have a fuel pressure gauge and looked at it, and its around 50psi, normally its around 42. Does anyone know why it would rise on its own like that? And how do i get it back down to 42, im tired of it stalling out on me at stoplights.
