Default How does the Compustar remote start work on a 5-speed?

Is there something you have to do in order for it to start that makes it safe or what? I wanna be able to tell a shop (if i can find one to install the alarm) that it's ok and safe to put the Compustar remote start on a 5-speed.

Yes, its safe, i have the top of the line on my turbo gsr with turbo timer.
5 speed works, there is a sensor that is on the parking brake which must be up, and you must leave the car out of gear everyting you leave the car or it wont start.

Great system

Any more questions PM me !
