Default idle problem

my idle is really messed up. it starts at about 700 when i start cold and then when it warms up it idles and my tach reads 0. what size socket do i need to get to that tiny littly freaking bolt and allen bolt to raise my idle?

also on an unrelated note, i read that post on how to gut your cat and i was wondering how the cat on a stock y7 comes off. i looked at it and it has that heat shield and i couldnt get it off cause one of the top bolts was broken. does it just unbolt like the one in the pic?

i think the cat is connected to the upper section of the manifold. as for idle, mine is doing that too. i dont know why. i am not running a second o2 sensor, but i dont think that would do it. once i keep the rpm up, it runs like a champ, but sometimes the idle goes so low, it stalls!

Exactly!! on the way to school today, i downshifted in the left turn lane and stalled. i popped the clutch there, at the intersection to the highway, at the stop to get off the highway, at the 4 way stop, into the school parking lot, and into my parking space!! it really gets annoying

I'm having the same problem....I acutally cleaned my entire intake mani, replaced gaskets clean'd the TB, and the IACV(sp?) and it kept doing it, I replaced the plugs and fuel filter and cleaned my injectors...nada.....I was told it might be my O2 sensor going bad.....its time for a new one anyways...lol
