Default Low idle cold/ Good idle warm Problem(Did Search)

I have a JDM B16a running on a USDM 99 SI ECU. I am not using the second O2(No Cat) and no CKF Sensor.

Ok, here is the problem. Car will not stay on when cold. After holding gas for a while and let car warm a little, not full operating temp, it will idle at like 300rpm. After fully warm it will idle at 700-800 no problem. What the hell could it be. Can this be cause buy the second O2? Help Please...

Things Ive Done.
Cleaned IACV (replaced, was Damaged)
Adjust Idle screw
Adjust TPS (replaced, also damaged)

You really shouldn't ever have to touch the Idle screw, it's rarely the cause of the problem, so it's a 'band-aid' fix.

Sounds like it may be the cold idle valve, since the problem goes away when warmed up (wich is usually an IACV problem).

So should I replace the IACV with another or is there something I can do to fix it?

No, you IACV valve would cause idle problems when the motor is warm. Since the problem is when the motor is cold, it's probably your cold idle vavle. It's what holds the motor at 1500 RPM until it warms up.

im not running a second 02 censor either. stock ecu. does this make power loss or is it bad for gas milage, or ANYTHING negative? sorry for asking, but it just quick came to mind.

Are you running a OBD 2 Ecu. If so you should be getting a CEL. I think 65 or something. Thats bad for gas mileage and the CEL will make the car run RICH to be safe.

If your running a OBD 1 ECU Your safe.

i dont knwo what im running. i have a stock 98 hatch (except for the exhaust obviously). and it does have 2 censors. so its bad for gas milage, is it bad for anything else? even a small whp loss?
