Default turbo d15

I have a 92 Dx w/98K miles on it, i would prefer dropping a turbo on the D15 SOHC, then a DOHC swap, just because a swap is expensive, but can i change the head to a d16 head (LSvtec type thing) or just put in a D16(i know im contradicting my self but a D16 swap is like $500) ? i dont know if i should swap in a d16 just because it would probably have more miles then my D15

If you're going to swap in a d16 swap in a B-series instead. Don't waste your time swapping in a D-series.

D16Z6 swap would be cheaper and better.
