How do I adjust Timing on an Unorthodox racing crank pulley?
Does anyone know how to adjust timing on a Unorthodox racing crank race pulley (B18c5)? There is only one mark on it. Thanks
(I wish I can trade it for an http://www.inlinefour.com/infourn1encr.html pulley)

Well I'm not 100% sure on this, since I've never actually used a timing light before, but I think if you get an inductive timing light w/ the advance **** on it, you would then use the light to line up the TDC mark. You set the **** to whatever timing you want (16 or 18 BTDC) and then line up the TDC mark.
If you have a timing light w/o advance, you have to rely on the 3 timing marks like on the stock pulley.
So you need a timing light with advance. Someone please tell me if I'm wrong.

even a timing light w/ advance can be out if your cam timing has changed sligtly, if you regularly check timing then you should be familiar w/ how the dist. turns in relation to the advance or retard
The only mark should be at TDC, but you can verify this by checking against the mark on the crankshaft timing sprocket.
So set your timing light for 16 degrees advance & shine it on the mark. If you had a light without the advance feature, you could measure 16deg & make a mark with a sharpie pen or something...
