Default Some Questions About Tein Coilovers???

I have a few questions about tein coil overs my first is how low can i go without a camber kit, second i know that when you put on new springs you need to get an allingment but do you need one every time you adjust how low or high it is, third and last what do you guys think about the tein basic coilover system for just a basic suspension setup.

Thanks for the help.

Tein for a basic suspension is pretty pricey... the flex are awesome... better than stock imo. Not sure about the chamber... but the alignment is usually for every ride hieght to about an .5" eitherway... correct me if im wrong

Rode in my buddies car with SS's. The car handled great. This summer we'll see how they do on the track with some stiffer springs.

They are also going into my Civic as well with a b-series swap so I'll give my review then.

My EG is lowered about 2" w/ w/ tein rs. I wouldn`t want to go any lower than that.

well I got the SS kit off of Ryan and I can say they are well built and honestly I would not lower any of my vechiles more than 2inches .. and honestly it's the TOE that usually kills the tires and not the camber.. but as long as you rotate you tires every 3-5k miles and get an alignment you'll be alright.. but don't get the SS if all you are doing is slamming the car.. u should get some GCs trust me you can slam the **** out of any car with a GC or skunk or any generic sleeve kit ..it's all up to you

The Basic setup seems to be a pretty nice thing for budget-deficient peeps. Kinda on the same line as the APEXi World sport dampers, but a hulluva lot cheaper. You get full height adjustment and sport dampers, but are non-adjustable for stiffness. I would recommend them in place of someone looking at GC and AGX, or something. They are really affordable, and high quality.
