Default Does anyone know where I can buy a McDonalds hamburger?

Does anyone know where I can buy a McDonalds hamburger? I thought Safeway might sell them but then I thought I better check the H-T AX/RR forum first. After all you guys eat them at the track so you must know where to get them.

*Inspired by the creators of such recent topics of:
"does anyone know where you can get a tein doll?"
"Where can i buy Rota wheels ??????"

Sorry for the waste of space .RJ

Why are you going with McDonald's? Sure the price is cheap, but the ones at Wendy's are better, IMO ... just splurge the extra 50 cents or whatever. Although if you're ever in Omaha, try Bronco's.

Pat, who must go to Bronco's and Big Fred's Pizza whenever visiting Omaha

You don't want a mcdonalds hamburger, they are not legal in most race classes.

Hamburgers without roll bars are dangerous.

JDM burgers are best, but when I cant get them overnighted to me, I get custom made burgers at a small shop here by my work.

I prefer Wendy's but I hear Burger King makes a good burger (but it is a McDonalds "knock-off" and most real AX/RR guys don't like the "knock-offs"). But if you want a "true" burger, then BK is a "true" burger opposed to the sleeve-made McDonalds burgers and most pure AX/RR guys like "true" burgers not those other ones. Out of curiosity, what's better, the off the shelf yellow mustard or is the Mugen JDM zesty sauce?

Dude, make sure you learn to eat it plain first. Once you start adding ketchup, mustard, pickles, fries, etc...you're just wasting your money.

I know many guys who can eat a plain hamburger a lot better than you could with your modded hamburger. Something to think about.

When talking about JDM burgers the brands are:

MOS Burger
Freshness Burger

Mcdonalds and Wendys were everywhere also.

Eat your burgers plain for the first few months, don't worry about modding them with fancy condiments, spend your money on eating out more or a eating school.
Once you have the hang of eating your plain burger then worry about condiments.

Don't jump right into the McD's. Learn how to eat first. Then, once you have that down, start out small, like with McNuggets or something.

also remember the larger burgers are harder to slow down on the exit chute, they tend to make the rear end skid. You are much better off getting a double patty burger such as the BK double cheese, 2 for $2. this will quite often lead to better grip in the drivers seat due to the size of your ***.

Can I swap in a JDM patty into my UDSM buns? or do I need some conversion pickles? What class would that put me in? Burger Modified?

I wanted my burger to be slizzamed, but couldn't afford a good lowering bun. So I just cut off the bottom half of the lower bun. Now there's grease leaking through it all over the place. What should I do? The dealer wants too much $$$ for a new stock bun, so I can't go back.

I so LOVE this forum when we do stuff like this! This has real potential to become somewhat of an ASGM thread.

r2x ~ who likes slightly modified BK burgers best (ketsup and mustard only, too many mods impairs my ability to eat quickly)

Whatever you do, don't use too many condiments without some sort of rollover protection.

On another note, I read a story about this guy who had a friend who died in an illegal eating race. Scary stuff.

Dude, why's EVERYONE gotta do the hybrid burger???? Jiminy Crickets, there are tons of juice to be made from the OE patty and you don't need JDM pickles and Euro-Spec onions to do it. Damn, it seems like we go around this same issue every dagone week!!! Oh and search is your friend or something.

You aren't worried about the unsprung weight of the sleeved-McD? Chik-a-Fila is MUCH lighter and more strudy for the money. Plus, you don't have to worry about slippage due to the fact that the condiments are DIY and the pickles actually act as helper springs, keeping the bun centered. Even BK burgers can't match Chik-a-Fila's lightness and wholesome goodness.

I gave up on most fast fixes a few years back and am much happier without them.

Andy

i agree on the ketchup and mustard only, but the rumor is that BK doesn't REALLY flame broils their burgers... the grill marks are visual only...
