Default EK's w/ stock bumper. what size intercoolers are you running?

I'm trying to see if I can run a 3" thick IC and what dimensions I can shoot for. Any help on dimensions will be greatly appreciated. TIA (btw I'm cutting out the front grill on the bumper if it makes a difference.

i am running the maxrev intercooler and it took a little bit of working to get it to fit right. i wanted to keep my bumper support so i had some cutting to do, other than that its lovely.

i forget the exacts on it. i think it was 20x8x3, someone correct if im wrong.

i dont think your intercooler is big enough!

but you can run as big of an intercooler as you like ... as long as you have a dremmell

look at is this way.. if (turbodandee) fit a 24x11x3 in there and made it that clean, you can pretty much make anything fit.....i doubt you are gonna run something bigger than that..on the street anyway.

ya, i think thats the biggest intercooler u can fit on a civic... my front bumper barely fits and i have to angle the bottom inwards to make it fit. plus the 24x11x3 dimension is just the core size, thats not including the end tanks.

thanks for the props guys

Without cutting, a 24x8x3" pwr core fits nicely. It will support 500whp as well.

My SOHC EK has a 24.5 X 12.5 X 3 core with our custom end tanks fits nicely with min. cutting....We did another EK with the same core, routed the outlets towards the firewall and it fit even better...(extra mods req to do so, but no big deal) On the front page of our web page the core randomly pops up...just hit reload until it comes up.....

I was wondering if you have ran into any problems with your radiator or a/c because of running an intercooler that big .....because im interested in doing that same setup but im worried if anything will happen????
thanks
