Clutch problem please help.
Just went driving home and there had been no problems, but as I turned onto my street, my car made funny a funny bouncing. When I shift into any gear it revs a little then goes some revs a little bit, seems like it is slipping, but why would it do that so fast, It has been working great all day. Also there is a burning smell, and it idles really low like it will stall out, then giving it gas feels like the pistons are really trying and it doesnt go smooth at all. Any ideas. Sorry for posting in two forums, but tech is slow, and I did a search an couldnt find anyhting.

Yes it does smell like someone welding, or buring something. But would it do it that fast and effect my idle. The only thing I can think of would be I painted my valve cover the other day, but I have put a good 40 miles on it since then with no problems, and I made sure there wasnt any goop or water on the valve cover before I put it on, that couldnt be a problem right?
Searched found someone that said clutch might not be disengaging properly, but the car goes into gears without resistance, just doesnt like to be in gears it seems like. TTT for tonight.
