does anyone kno whow to check if your clutch has gone bad? my car has been running weird, it would go then start to die out and jus take off again. is that a clutch problem?
Im not really sure what either of you meant but to test your clutch for slipping put it in any high gear(4th of 5th) and floor it. If the rmps shoot up its slipping. Either do that or redline 1st and bang 2nd. See if it slips there.

sometimes when i have that problem, and i am at a stop in neutral, my car will start to idle real low, and i can hear it almost stall then it will go back up by itself. anyone ever have the same problem?
Your idle has nothing to do with the clutch. And having trouble starting your car doesn't either. I agree with what the guy above said about testing the clutch. If your idle is low, you might need to adjust the little idle screw on the throttle body.

a friend of mines sold me a clutch for 50 bucks. No money right now for a act one. Every heard of f1 clutch, is it good?. I had a act 6 puck with a heavy duty pressure plate. Damn 6puck ate it self out with the shaft on my tranny.
