Default slotted or cross-drilled?

hi,
I have a 1990 Integra GS and I am going to buy some AEM brake pads and I think i might need new front rotors.
I am thinking of getting some Brembo rotors because I have heard good things about them.
Should I get the Cross Drilled or the Slotted Brembo rotors? I am not going to be doing much racing, just the ocassional bit and maybe the ocasional driving down the mountains.
Which ones should I get? also, will these fit well in my 1990 Integra GS?

also, if anyone thinks I should get other company pads or rotors to work together better, please let me know, but they must be in the same price range as the ones I listed. I found the AEM pads for $44 and the Brembo rotors for $166.

thanx in advanced for your help

brembo blanks for ~50bucks and good pads (for street - i'd suggest axxis ultimates ~$40) thats all you'll need, just forget all about the xdrilled/slotted gimmic..

exactly. Just use a good quality rotor and some agressive street pads. best bang for the buck. x-drilled and slotted just reduce the swept area and give you cooling you won't need. I like EBC greens or Mintex red box. The AEM/Nissen pads seem OK but i prefer teh EBC

Call Cobalt Friction. They can set you up with a good pad for your needs. slap those on with a set of brembo blanks and you should be good to go.
