hey guys i got a 96 Lx and i was wondering if a Ex head would fit so i would have vtec...what all do i need for this THANKS

 

You can bolt it right on, you do need the ECU for that head though for your VTEC. Also the vtec solenoid to kick it in! Are you sure it's worth all the trouble though? for like 15 hp?
I'd save up and swap in an H22!

i have a 94 lx , and have a spare 94 ex (head,ecu, & extras) also, was wondering the same thing but never tried it... anyone have pics or info on what i need to do? and is it easy to (D.i.y) ? thanks.

You're better off swapping the whole F22B1 longblock without the tranny, since also both intake and exhaust manifolds are different and will not bolt on right.
