greddy turbo kit on a d16y8
greddy states the turbo kit will only fit the 92-95 engine(obd1). using the search i found a lot of info that contradicts greddy. now, i know it will fit the 96-98 engine but what would i need to do or buy to get it to work correctly? i also saw that the black/blue box is useless on my obd2 car. do i need anything else to replace it with? (missing link, ect..)
alot of people say the kit works great even without an intercooler. is this true? i know it would run better with an i/c but can i really get by without one?
thanks

The kit fits any 92-00 sohc.... all you need is fuel management. get a apexi vafc, or something similar...or convert to OBD1 and get hondata....or AEM
you have to mod the down pipe and the charge pipes to make it fit, here is how to wire up the blue box to your 96-00 http://bellsouthpwp.net/t/u/turnera/Diagrams.html

here this will help. first the kit does work on 92-00 sohc vtec engine with blue box, go to this site for wiring info, http://www.turbocivic.net
with the whole vafc you only need that well a hacked one would be better if you didnt want to use the blue box and run more then 8psi of boost. but then you would have to change injectors, and i recomend getting a new fuel pump etc etc with fuel.
just use the blue box if your on a budget.
