What clutch do I use for a ZC tranny?
Yup, just count the splines on your input shaft on the ZC tranny first. 20 splines, get a 91 Crx/Civic Si clutch. 21 splines(doubtful) get a 88 clutch only. But u probably have a 20 spline. Lemme know. Thats what I did to make sure what clutch to get for my new used Si tranny.
well i have an 88 zc tranny and i ordered a clutch from act from an 86-89 integra and it fits fine on the tranny the only problem was the pilot tool they sent with it didnt fit in the pilot bearing so as of right now i cant figure out how to align the clutch if any one knows which pilot tool to use please let me know asap thanks hope i answered your question
I read on the Hybrid website that you use a '89 Civic DX clutch. Well I went out and bought on and installed it and it bolted up fine. When I try it out I will see if it worked or not.
go on to http://www.thezcr.com we just had a big discussion about this on what works with what from zc motor to dx tranny

You can go to a part store and buy an alignment tool that is universal.

For the love of god, I had a 75% chance of getting a ZC tranny with the 20 splines and what do I get but the goddam 21 spline. Now I have to go return all this crap again. Oyyyy vey!
