Engine Change
I have recently purchased a Honda CRX Si G reg (Phase 2). The engine at present seems to be mechanically sound but I am a little concerned with the milage (150k). I have been told by some people that the engines in these cars are superb and that this sort of milage on the enjine is ok. I myself am not sure and would greatly appreciate any ifo you can give me.
Before I decide to do anything with the engine would you recomend that I have it changed?
Also If I was to change the engine would a V-tec conversion be very expensive?

I have a friend that has blown up one SOHC CRX engine at 300k miles and replaced it and is now at about 350k miles on that engine and just burns a little oil
only 3 quarts in the past week.

I'm pulling mid 15's on the stock motor at 166K miles. And my car sees some serious abuse. BTW, the health of my rings is decreasing steadily, but other than that I can't seem to beak this damn thing.
