Default JR Supercharger intake question

I put a Jackson Racing supercharger on my Type R, i was wondering if anyone knows what kind of intake will fit on my car now? My AEM cold air one dont fit now because my throttle body sits lower than stock, and the intake hits off my A/C lines. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Also, if anyone can give me tips on how to tune it, fuel pressure and timing wise, i would greatly appreciate it. I have a MSD 6BTM and a map controller. I'm also throwing a check engine light and i dont know why, the map controller is suppose to get rid of it, but only gets rid of it until i hit boost then it comes on. I think its my O2 sensor.

yeah, you'll have to cut it for it to work.. or just use the short ram portion, it's better that way anyhow..

if you REALLY wanted to, you could get a new intake for it.. they make them to fit with the JRSC..

and what code exactly is it that you're throwing?

If you cut the AEM about 10" away from the thottle body and put a flex joint in there it will fit pretty close, you might have to cut it down a little. Comptech makes an ice box that fits it perfectly also.

As for tunning , you will hear this alot, but a Standalone is the way to go , but from no ......
Set you base timming at 14Deg , set the BTC at 1 deg , with the vacume hose of the JR FMU at idle you need to set the fuel pressure at at 55-58PSI. This will get you close, you can tune from there.

As for the check engine light , you need to check the wirring , and then re check the code.

just hook an aem short-ram up to it, shouldnt need to cut it at all. you want short-ram for better throttle response, from what im told.

edit* you running check valves, or a missing link MAP?

Just cut your Cold Air into a short ram. Short ram is better for the Jacksons, I switched from having a cold air. As for the tuning, I would go with standalone. Even with all of the Jackson piggy backs you will still have fuel pressure that is through the roof and the more boost you add it will lean out on tip in. I was running the 6BTM for a while but I recently just switched to Hondata and the 6A, its like night and day.

The Comptech Ice Box is the best in my opinion. If you have any ?'s about what to run with the JR kit ask Evil Cetane. He had the same set up and learned a TON of tricks (he had 310 at the wheels and that was moderately tuned). Hope you enjoy it, it's a monster when you put that blender on!
