Which motor would u choose in a 92 hb an ls/vtec or h22a. Which would respond better to mods and what mods would you put on both?

 

The H22 is awesome, but I'd stick with the LS/Vtec because of the abundance of aftermarket parts, and gearing options. Plus it leaves a little more room under the hood to help with maintenance, etc...

 

although i've heard many horror stories due to reliability of LS/VTEC, i'd still choose it over the H22a

my reason-----abundance of quick-fix parts and interchangeablilty of B series

 

p.s.----do an archived search on both engines, and furthur your knowledge about both before you go into it blindly and have to ask others for opinion

 

what aftermarket parts do you put on a lsvtec? As in for what motor and stuff like that? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

 

pretty much all b-series share the same part numbers, except for internals...what i mean by interchangeablilty is.....for example.......intakes, intake manifolds, distributers, exhaust manifolds, ignition systems, fuel rails, injectors, computers, you know
