Accord IS DAMAGED!!!
damn retarded cousins ran into my fawking car!!! they're willing to pay for it. should i just take it to an autobody repair shop and get it fixed or get a new door??? how will they repair it cause i dont want it fixed cheap with bondo and ****. thanks!!!
If you go to a repair shop, it's going to cost you more than $400 guaranteed. Pretty sure they would have to repaint that entire side of the car. I've got a little dink on the passenger side, right below the quarter panel window on my car. The estimate given to me was around $400. Get an estimate first, then think about it.
For a Dent like that the proper way to fix it would be to replace the door skin. Their is a skin that they wrap around the door frame which makes up your door. What they do is drill out the spot welds, take off the old one, and put on the new one and weld it back on. If you open your door and look at the sides you will see the skin where its been wrapped over.
As for painting it they may either have to blend it in or just paint the one panel. I think it will cost you around 600 to get it done properly.

yeah i think im going to want a new door, a repaired one wont stand up to the abuse and strength of an undamged door. i can either get a skin of the door(~$90) or the whole door(~#220) (remember i dont PAY ****!!!) from the looks of the picture (i'm in college didnt see it in person) it looks like 1-2" deep. might of damaged interior of the door, like the saftey bar in it (dont know what its called).
i say just go to a reputable autobody shop and get an estimate and ask them what you should do... if you go to a couple shops you should be able to average out a good answer from the BS... and most places give estimates for free

i agree, thats what i did and everything worked out fine. you may even want to take it to a custom shop to see if they would write the quote for a new paint job all the way around.

the autobody place is just going to replace it ($125 if that's a 93 for them) if the labor + part is less than labor to fix it. that's what my dad's autobody was going to do to my 93 (my dad the ajuster so I know the prices hehe) just find a junkyard and get the door it's rather easy to do but will take time.
yea, i'll prob go around calling junk yards for doors and take it to a body shop get it painted. anyone know of any good body shops out in miwaukee, wi??? and the paint job will be as good as stock or better right???
oh, while im at it how much do u think painting all of my moldings will cost??? thanks!!!

I worked at Downtown Auto Body (off of Capital n Holton Ave. on the East Side) Ask for Tony. He gives really good estimates and i know the guys working there. Good painters and bodymen. Sorry i can't really GIVE an estimate, but i can be sure that he'll beat anyones price. About the moldings, he might be able to do those fairly cheap too. Talk something out with him and tell him little Mikey sent'cha. Hope this helps.
