Default Fuel pump question...

Ok, for reasons that i'm not going into right now, i've got my fuel pump hooked up to a 12v switch. my question is...will the switch keeping the pump on, instead of just priming like the stock ecu would...will the pump staying on all the time, will it make the injectors be under more pressure or be detrimental to anything? Thanks.

If you have the 12 volts hooked up to it all the time and the switch always on, of course its gonna stay on all the time.

Yes it will be on all the time. You would have get the 12v from an accessories wire.. which is a fuse or outlet that has power when the key is turned. Say... the Radio fuse.

when your car is running, the pump is on CONSTANTLY. therefore, it will not hurt anything. thats the reason for a return fuel line and FPR. just make sure the pump isnt running when you walk away from the car or you may come back to a dead battery.

cool, thats what i was asking, and i assumed that the return line and FPR would take care of that. just wanted to make sure i wasn't gonna make my car run really rich or not be able to start by way of gas being forced into the motor or anything like that. thanks guys. peace.
