How to make a direct fuel pump circuit?
I'm going to try to bypass the fusebox and relays for my fuel pump. Would I just be able to splice in my own wires and run them directly into the ECU, with some fuses and an on/off switch?

dont see why you would need to, you could just run an on/off switch to the fuelpump ground, the car wont start whatsoever while the switch is off. unless you have a different motive with your idea?

I'm having problems with my fuel pump shutting off randomly. I have a topic called Fuel Pump shutting off randomly, explains more there. I just thought maybe I could bypass all the relays and stuff and run the fuel pump as a completely different system.

No splicing into the ECU required.
Find a hot wire
Run inline fuse off power source
from fuse run hot wire to switch
switch to "+" side of fuel pump
"-" side of fuel pump to ground
Doesn't get any easier than that.
