Default Built b18c1 into cx hatch. pics yO!, you're slow.

Well, as many of you know, i took the b18c1 out of my car a couple of weeks ago, and there has been quite a bit of speculation as to what might happen to it next.

Well, here it is.

This is not my car (yet, maybe), but is damn sure still my motor.

so can I borrow it next?

How big of a difference is it from the coupe to the hatch?

It is definetly faster, but there is so much less *** there to stop it and keep it on the ground. After you shift into third gear, you have to pray that it doesn't torque steer you into the ditch.

No, you may not borrow it, this is a conglomerative project for a couple of races that are coming up.

coupe will most definetly remain my econobox, this is a friends civic, we pretty much just did it becasue there are some races coming up, and we want to be in them, this just seems like the natural thing to do I suppose.

Hatch was picked up for $300, I cannot believe it sometimes. Of course he won't sell it for that much, bastard, but it's not like it's being driven everyday, just done to be fast for a purpose, race only I suppose.

oh yes, I don't think the ex will ever be fast again. I put 7000 miles on my car in 10 weeks for work, the built c1 doesn't need that kind of abuse.

I was kidding bout the borrowing part lol

I have a question though, how is the EX coupe as a daily driver? I am considering getting one because it has the sunroof and power everything basically...Later on down the road I plan on doing a B20.Vtec or GSR swap but since you have experience in both these fields, do you think its worth it?

Thanks Plan B

I'm kinda sad to see that the coupe will never be fast again. Good luck with those upcoming races with the CX hatch. Is that going to be the motors permanent new home or just somewhere temporary? I wish I just had motors to throw into different cars whenever I felt like doing it

Lowndes Co, a 94-95 ex is one of the nicest hondas you can get IMO. Extreemly comfortable, sporty looking, "enough" power to get you around through traffic and such.

I love my car being back stock, and the cx being fast, whoo whoo!

It's just a temporary home however, it doesn't seem like the owner is going to sell...
