First, second, and third mods to my CX hatch!

First, second, and third mods to my CX hatch!
I can't stand driving a car without a tach! So I ran out and grabbed one of these:
Also can't stand a car that handles like a stock CX hatch, so, in efforts of reducing 'a little' body roll, and making things 'a bit' stiffer, and maybe dropping the car 'some', I picked up some of these:
All of which replaced these..
...And of course, what good would that coilover setup be without some swaybars, provided by:
Whew! As soon as I get some Type-R rear lower control arms I'll slap these things on. I don't know how well it will do with my current tire setup, however. Next to come on the suspension side of things are some Volk Gram Racing Lights and some Falken or Pirellis.

Re: First, second, and third mods to my CX hatch! (ride_with_me)
I suggest u to rethink the ITR LCA(Lower control arm) ... They wont fit ur TEIN's since the rear ITR LCA is different... U can sell ur RA's or trade them for ITR TEIN's... If u want to keep ur TEIN's then get GS-R LCA..
Have fun with ur car, u gonna love the TEIN's...

I see what the problem is now. You got shocks for an EK. Also, the ST sway bars dont requre GSR LCA's since they mount at the same place as the rear shock on the LCA.
You just need to shave the bushing down on your stock LCA so that your new shocks will slide over them.

According to http://www.inlinefour.com Note: Unless using the SS coilovers, 88-91crx/civic, 92-95 civic, 94-01 integra must use the "jdm" LCA.
available at inlinefour.com for $110.
Stereo would be nice also.

Will the upper pillot mounts from a EG fit a 01 GSR?
If so and you dont' need it, JDiMpreza, interested in selling them?
Thanks

Take a look at the rear shocks, they are designed to fit ove a solid rear LCA, not a boxed version, if that was the case, the rear shock would house the bushing.
Looking good, I dont mind tachs at all, although Autometer gauges are the biggest piles of ****, my buddy went through 2, 1 on his 67 Nova and one on his 96 EK. He finally went out and bought an APEXi EL series tach.
OH and BTW guys, read his damn sig. he doesnt have and EK, he has an EG, Type-R LCAS fit just fine.

I have a 1992 CX hatch with struts that are supposed to be on an EK.
Like a few others have said, just grind the bushings down on the rear LCAs and the thinner bottom "forks" will slide on just fine.
The fronts will fit perfect.
Congrats on the suspension, but for me (and it's not my car of course) I would never drive with a really big tach because I like the slook of the 1992-195 Si/EX cluster and the tach on it goes to 9000rpms.

are there any specific reason why you use the EK struts, instead of the EH struts? Just curious.

Re: First, second, and third mods to my CX hatch! (ride_with_me)
should have skipped your first mod....
an SI gauge cluster is MORE than enough in terms of a tachometer
it also keeps that subtle look for when people pull next to you in your 70hp CX
just a thought... im not into monster tachs in any street car... specially when an oem tach can let you rev to over 9K
and about people who are talking about a RADIO.... driving without a radio is WAY different than driving with out a stereo..people are different
who cares about music... <!~ my personal opinion

indeed...more like "i cant stand driving around without the bling-factor, so i picked up this iCy h0t sTunNa m0nStA tAcH y0 !!!"
Also, this car is not my daily driver, nor will it ever be.
My daily driver:
And I can't stand not listening to music in my car either, so I gotta have the W6's..
Thank you for the input on whether or not the EK struts will fit my car. The reason that the guy at the shop ordered these is because the EG ones which do require the JDM lcas apparently, are on backorder for over a month and a half.

Nice mods but I would have rather scene just a shift light not feeling the riceboy monster tach. Should have gotten the JDM SIR cluster

Re: First, second, and third mods to my CX hatch! (Halo)
man you people need to STFU about the 'monster' tach's. who cares? good for you that you have a JDM cluster or an Si/EX cluster. for one thing, stock tachs are known to be notoriously off...there is over a 500 RPM differemce after 5500 RPM in my car comparing my stock tach to an EX cluster. Plus you have to have SOME kind of rice on your car otherwise you won't even get noticed...no getting noticed equates to no being able to spank some REAL ricers. I have a 5" tach on my dashboard...and it's in the middle because here in Texas our tags go in the lower driver side portion of the window so I'm pretty sure it would be 'Ricey' to you ****.. Anyway, before I got it, I couldn't get ANY races, and I spent a month trying. It's much more fun having a 'ricey' tach while someone comes up and revs on you while you spank them. So much for it being ricey and bling bling y0. now what's RICEY is the gay JDM bandwagon half you people are on. 'iT bE dA tIzNiTe GaY dEe EeM gAuGe ClUsTeR tHaT rEaDs In KmH y0'
