p28 ecu with jun chip??
Shouldnt you have asked before you bought it? I mean what if it was a crap chip - you would have just waisted your money. IMO the Jun chip IS crap - VTEC kicks in @ 4400 RPM, just wait till you take your car on the highway, youll see why it sucks. Im a fan of the Mugen chip... VTEC @ 5700 RPM, and Redline at 9200 RPM
i see the only reason to get a chipped ecu is so you can get a higher rev limiter, and no speed limiter.. get a vafc and you can actually tune the motor to get the most power based on mods.. w/ a vafc you can also change the vtec settings, for example i have vtec set around 4000-4500 at the track, when im not racing at the track it is set at 5500
you tell us.. as there are many variations of JUN program, so its hard to say how it runs. but from the ecu programs I offer and have usually the JUN program seems to be rather lean/stock below vtec adn then later improved maps with higher rev limit.
anyways you can swap/change and run different program if you want to ( I offer other programs, check sig
)
