Default need help urgently - ecu fuse keeps blowing

i have a d16z6 in a 90 dx converted to odb1. i was getting a check engine light and the ecu said it was the vtec pressure switch. my tach also wasn't working. i found that the pressure switch had a bad ground so i regrounded the wire. the car started with no check light and my tach started working as well. after running for about 30 seconds, the engine just shut down. it turned out the ecu fuse blew. i replaced it and it just blew again. i ungrounded the wire i had grounded but that didn't help. i finally have it traced to something that goes through the connector on the driver's side shock tower. if i leave that one disconnected, the fuse doesn't blow. the fuse blows as soon as the key is turned to the "on" position. i really need to get this fixed or else i need to find a new car.

That wire is probably shorting out somewhere...trace it and see if it's damaged and touching metal anywhere.
