I cant believe my spring rates! And my bumpstops wont fit!
Well I just put in my new 400/400 spring rates to replace my old GCs. Turns out that I had 200F/180R! I was like WTF? I bought them at rim shop so I guess they had the show kits with soft spring rates.
Oh and I cant get the damn bumpstops on! That hump thing after the thread gets in the way so I cant put them on. Looks like this:

Was I suppose to bore out the bumpstop?

Just wondering...are you supposed to use bumpstops on KYBs? It seems from the instructions that you don't, so I didn't...I wasn't too scared by this because it looks like my springs will bind before the bumpstop would get hit, anyway. Does this seem cool?
Yes, you should use bumpstops on any brand of shock and non are impervious to bottoming. The more you have, the more protection you will have from bottoming but the sooner in the stroke you will hit them and the car will experience a harsher impact and some effect on the functional spring rate. The less you have, the less protection you will have from bottoming the shock and the less it might have impact in the ride and handling. You decide what level is appropriate for your situation. Less harshness and buy more shocks or more chance of harshness and longer shock life.
Does it seem possible, though, that the shock won't bottom out because the spring is tall enough that it will bind way before the bump stop would be hit? I am 90% sure that either the instructions for the AGXs or DropZone Coilovers (I know they're ghetto, but they have a lifetime warranty and 350f/450r for $100) said to discard the bumpstop, but I'll check on this...
