my charging system started to lose charging power.....this made my lights dim and the battery light come on...but it was charging because it ran like that for about 3 days. i got a reman alternator installed it, and it did the same thing, but this time it stopped charging completely after about an hour of driving. so i tested the battery (good), tried 2 other new batteries to see if mine had an internal short....the other batteries had no effect. i checked all the ground wires goin to the engine and trans, and tested the wires at the alternator plug accoring the the honda service manual (good)......i even tried swapping the ecm...still not charging......must be the alternator.....right??

 

I would say so. There is a warranty on it so just return it and say it's no good. Taking it back out on the otherhand is the major PITA.

 

Did you check your fuses?
