Braking vibration pt.2
Fresh rotors, fresh Porterfield R4s pads.
With about 200 miles of light city/highway driving I finally decided to heat them up from 80 a couple times ... and guess what happened!!
This vibration was not apparent before my recent brake job, so I don't thing its related to the bearings, LCA or any or that stuff.
I did notice that the front right rotor seemed to get the first marks of wear (and the wheel was hotter), whereas the others had virtually none.
Plus, the FR seems to have been, how should I put it... possibly in need of a rebuild since it may be getting a little stuck!
Any more ideas?
P.S. this is really starting to **** me off ... how much are R calipers nowadays?
BTW -- the dust seals on each side crumpled a long time ago. Thanks, ed.

Thanks, ROR.
Looks like there's just a little more work to be done!
My guess on the vibration (esp. with an LSD in the R), is that the difference in the braking torque from one side to another may have been causing it.
Looked at the prices of R&D's Spoon 4-pot prices (OMG!) ... looks like I'll be rebuilding the stockers.
update: Just got a quote from an Acura dealer of about $269 installed for the front right caliper (they don't seem to do rebuilds, just R & R).
