possibly having a caliper seized up
its getting cold and not sure whats happening if its the brake rotors or the caliper beginning to seize up. when i lightly press the brakes just enough for it to engage i hear a squeeking noise from the rear driver side. but past that light engagement the sound goes away. it usually only happens when i'm driving at low speeds.
can someone give me the symptoms of when your calipers are seizing up or if the rotors are warped?

If it siezes the brake will grab all the time.
If the rotors are warped you'll feel it in the steering wheel if it's fronts or through the seat if it's rears.
Warped rotors can sometimes be turned and they'll be fine. A frozen caliper needs to be replaced. You can buy loaded rebuilt ones at the auto parts stores. Call for pricing.
The squeeking nosie could be a stone stuck in the brake, See if it stops, sometimes brakes make noise's until there warmed up. They can rust over night.

Could also be the brake pad anti-squeek plate. Needs lube where it contacts the brake pad and caliper.
