Default synthetic oil = performance mod?

Atleast thats what my *** dyno concluded. Changed to Mobil1 5w30 Synthetic from Castrol GTX 5w30 was the best mod next to the CAI. Engine warmed up ALOT quicker; with the old oil, it took upwards to 10mins (idle) to warm the engine up. today, 2 mins or less. The car idles much smoother, and the rpm accelerated quicker. i'm probably tripping..

I picked up 3hp over stock Honda oil with Royal Purple synthetic 5~30W, so it's not out of the question by any means....
