Default new rods

well kinda new, they had a home in a 1.8 liter before my d16. they sure do look beefy compared to the d16z's!

Do you have to notch your block and open up the big end of the LS rods to fit in a D series?

yes the big end has to be made thinner (you can see the shinny part the would be covered by the crank weights) and you have to have a bushing made to accept the small wrist pin.
