Default B18c5 or not

From what I have heard there is no reason in putting an Integra Type R motor into a EF Civic because you have to remove and use different parts that basically give it its power. Things like the distributor and intake manifold. Is this true?

Dizzy yes, intake mani well lets just say if your going to be taking this off of the motor id be glad to take it off your hands. LOL. The intake mani will work just fine you may have to modify some of the sensors though.

How does the distro make it lose power? I have one in my EF with a PR3 head and I am doing 186 to the wheels with no mods to the inside of the engine. I dont even have a ITR exhaust cam, just a GSR one. I think it is well worth the time to throw it in, but I am a little partial because I already have it.
