Whats All Needed To Put Slim radiator from EG into Ef ?
As the topic says, i wanna do the 92-95 Civic Slim radiator in my 91 si hatch due to the fact i will be slapping a turbo kit on it..... Exactly what all is needed to have that radiator mounted in there nice and sound???? Also post some pics.. Thanks guys & girls
Taking a guess here, but from looking at it, it seems that all you may have to do is fabricat some sort of mounts which should not be too hard to make it fit.

i didnt try very long, but when i lined the radiator from my bro's 92 CX hatch in my 88 CRX, it was too tall to fit under the hood
but wouldnt running a smaller radiator offer less cooling because its not as big. understand that u need the space for the turbo to go but then the motor would run hotter

The radiator, if i am correct, is a little thicker. Not to metion the fact that EF's are over-cooled from the factory. Even with a b16 in my car, on my aftermarket engine temp gauge, it barely, if ever, reaches normal operating temperature.

Also if you are running a D-series you can just swap your thermostat from an EG...opens a lil sooner to compensate for the EG's small rad. I would run this thermostat on hot autox days fer the extra cooling....kinda like a mugen thermostat but factory.

These smaller radiators work perfectly, worried about cooling then just change your thermostat like someone said. My water temp gauge never goes beyond 210, and that is the max it has ever gone to with my neon rad. Jared was running this on a turbo setup and he had the exact same results, the second the fan turns on and the thermostat opens the circulating water and the fan are more than enough to cool.
i heard i can customize my stock crossmember to allow the 92-95 civic radiator to fit...... anyone done this?????????? what all do i need to customize?
