300 is good, make sure you get the mani and linkage, check the condition of the carbs as well, but a rebuild kit is pretty cheap as long as the casts are in good shape.
there is no stand alone with carbs, it is, as some put, a metered gas leak, no computers needed. might consider a distributorless ignition though, some put miata system on D series, never had seens it in person. or sds system.
used to be very popular with the Zcar crowd.

300 is pretty good for twin mikunis, manifold, and linkage, considering a new weber dcoe would cost about that or more new.

I think maybe you'll like your PGM-FI better than carbs. There's a reason there arent carb'd cars anymore. But if you want to, go ahead, just my .2cents.

Twin Carbs are good, they can produce alot of power and sounds bad ***. The only problem with them is constantly tuning it.

also can i use my stock ECU with a carb set-up? i thought i have to run a DFI/stand alone with carbs, because the computer would be all messed up...
if i can run a stock ECU and make my car run good, that would be great. thanks again you guys!

The carbs supply fuel, the distributor handles spark. You may need a way to handle spark advance, but there's no need for an ECU to control fuel. I doubt your stock computer would be happy with the engine running with no fuel injectors attached, but I'm not sure what kind of problems that would cause.

for some reason i'm thinking that the stock ecu isn't gonna work. the ecu does control fuel but maybe it will still think it's controlling the injectors??? anyways, 300 is a very good price!

new carbs are REALLY expensive.. but here's a place i've dealt with before when i had my 240z. They are very knowledgable and awesome. They tend to deal with cars that are older, and more.. carbureted.. but they should still be able to help you. they definitely carry weber carbs, and they have lots of manifolds. here's their website:
