Want 15X7 Rota's?
I think in stunna-speak you should tell people to "peep" that thread... might draw some more attention, ya know?

Yeah. Steve told me you emailed him.
Sorry it has been taking so long. We are trying. Good news is that they passed all tests easily.

10 sets?
I won't buy them, but I can guarantee they'll get sold. Price them at around $100 and its a done deal. Seriously.
13x6 wheels are VERY hard to come by these days. About your only choices are Volk and Panasport, both quite expensive of course.
13x6 is the size for both ITC and G Production. There are LOTS of ITC and GP Hondas and VWs out there with the same offset and bolt pattern.
If you make them, they will sell.
13x6
4x100
33mm offset
11lbs or less
Priced at around $100 (or less)
You could buy two sets for a little more than the cost of one set of panasports. And a set for a little more than the cost of ONE Volk.
Yeah, they'd sell.
I'd buy 2 sets and run Rota decals on my car if this happened.
Scott, who has witnessed ITC drivers hoarding old 13x6 BBS wheels because you just cant get them anymore

Waitaminute. Ten sets is all it takes for a specific size and offset? ITA-spec 14x7s??

14x7 would probably sell a good bit as well.
Not as much as the 13x6 IMO though. There are still some good, light 14" wheels out there (Borbets come to mind). There just isn't anything in 13x6.
Scott, who thinks 13x5.5 wheels that weigh 16lbs ARE NOT the ticket, but can find those everywhere.

Rota already offers the "RB" (a panasport lookalike) in a 13x8 and 4x100 pattern. If they changed that to a 6" width and nailed the right offset... golden.
Rumor a week ago was that the two common Borbet 14" options (T and S?) were now out of production... Give me a few months to get myself moved and settled and I would seriously consider bankrolling production of a batch of 14x7, if I could get a wholesale price.

The problem isn't so much bankrolling a production run of a certain size. It is paying for a mold for a size that will not be commercially viable. eg be a 'common enough' size for others than a 'limited' motorsports market.
15X7 is the max. diameter & width allowed for Spec Miata (NASA & SCCA). Spec tire (NASA) sizes are either 205/50/15 or 205/55/14.
There is a limited quantity of Miata specific (hubcentric) wheels available.

I would also buy a set of 14x7's.
It seems borbet does not produce this size anymore and the expensive options are panasport and revolution wheels. I dont think i need to spend that much on wheels.

You guys are killing me
One thing @ a time. First, we will decide on the feasibility of the 5X114. Once that is settled, we will see about the 14X7 in a 4X100.
