What size bolts for an EH lip? (Making a run to the hardware store...)
I just picked up a 93 vx front lip spolier from Honda. I was intending on getting the bolts, but they wanted 60.00$ for them!?! I was like WTF? Anyways he said you need 11 each or something? Its just a piece of plastic, so can anyone tell me what size bolts i need and if i need any thing else to keep it attached. thanks

Yeah for it to fit right, theres like 10-12 clips and bolts that goes with it, but for $60 bucks, id just go by some tap screws and screw them to the bumper.

Which are you referring to in the picture?
#26:
P/N: 90111-SM4-003
H/C: 336931
List Price: $1.95

P/N: 90305-SH3-000
H/C: 293547
List Price: $3.02
You stated you wanted the bolts, and it does specify 11 are required. However, when I add them up ($1.95 * 11), I don't get $60.
http://www.hparts.com will give you a 20% discount, however you will need to pay shipping.

Exactly. I went to my local honda dealer and thats what the parts guy told me. Thats why I was like WTF and didnt buy them!
Thanks for the replys.........I am just going to go to my local junk yard and see if i cant find the bolts of a coupe lip. I initially looked at the junkyard for the lip, but saw a couple and they were bent in an S curve!

Why even do that? All you need to do is stop by Home Depot, get some nut/bolt/washer combo's, and mount the lip. That's how I did my OEM lip, my Vision lip, and later my Spoon style lip. Cost me about $2.50 for the hardware.

Do you know what size bolts you got? So bolts and washers and it fits fine?

just get underneath your bumper, take ANY of the 10mm bolts out that hold on the splash shield on down there, take that bolt to Lowes or Home Depot, and check the thread size. They've got things on the walls that you can screw your stock screw into and it tells you the exact thread size it is.
Then buy 10 bolts that same thread size, probably about 3/4-1" long.
Simple as that. Just get underneath there and look!

i believe the thread part is 6mm...so on the baggy at home depot it will be like 6mm x 10mm...what i did was brought a 10mm socket with me and matched the right bolt to the right socket

Yeah, that'll work. When I did mine, I used a nut/bolt with a pretty big washer for each side. You can be creative. I actually used allen screws for a few of them to mix it up, some of them I pushed upwards from the bottom of the bumper, other I pushed downwards, just to make it harder for thieves
