ok it is my friends eclipse and the cable cam unhooked or something because it wont go out of netural and i justed wanted to know if anyone knew about shifter cables and how they setup

wrong forum but your civic doesn't have a shifter cable unless its an A/T which those are only 4speeds....M/T uses a shift linkage which are bars that connect to the tranny and the shifter lever check them make sure everything is still connect

 

i said it was a civic so i could get some help and the only reason i didnt know that they weren't cable and were hydrolic is cause there pieces of ashit so i dont mess with them

 

well sorry you feel that way just letting you know... and If you would read you would see I suggested checking it at the tranny and the shift lever......you wanted help and you got it.....not starting a flame war good grief charlie brown......
