I'm getting just the DUNK muff. What size piping should I use for a N/a D16? 2.25, 2.50? How big of a resonator should I use to keep this thing quite. From what I've heard the catback system straight from Apex'i using the dunk muff was pretty loud. and I really what something deep and quite.

The muff is free by the way.

 

2.25 should be sufficient 2.5 would be too large for your application and a buddy of mine has it on his GSR and it's loud as ****!!!

 

The dunk is not loud at all. I have a d16z6 in my CX and i got the full-cat back from Apex'i. IT is very Deep sounding on mine.

My roomate has a LS with 2.25 piping and a Aerospeed muffler, Now that IS LOUND AS FAWK!

 

Well i have one on my 94 civic LX and mine is load as f*** too,but i have strait pipe 2.5" piping back from the cat, so that is why mine is so load,but my buddy of mine had it on his car with the Apex'i piping and it didnt even sound like he had a non stock exhaust on his civic.

 

Ya, i know its loud as fu*& with header & straight pipe, no res. Thats what my cousin had, he's giving me the muffler. How long of a resonator should I run to make this thing almost WS quiet?


LOL, I remember we wouldn't even bother tring to talk in the car while on the freeway... couldn't hear shiet. Had to communicate with freakin hand gestures.
