Default For GSR owners with ITR cams and cam gears...

im putting in my gears next weekend (have the cams in already) and before I go and tune anything I wanted to see what you all have - since they're relatively stock cams I figured it would only be a few degrees difference like +4 exhuast and -1 intake. what do you guys have your settings at?

u really need to dyno tune it.

try +2 intake -1 exhaust.
and if u like that keep it. dont' go too much.

that is the exact setting I ran my CTR cams at. That was after dyno tuning them.

A good range would be

Intake: 0 to +4
Exhaust: 0 to -2

thats better good. on stock compression thats the range you should stay with.

do you guys have vafc or anything? reason i ask is because i was wondering if you kept the vtec cross over at 4400rpm or was it raised? i'm in the market for itr cams, but i'm still reasearching.

also, what valve springs are you using, stock itr?

I'd try +2 intake
-1 exhaust

and then wait until you get it dyno tuned before "trying" anymore adjustments.

vafc is a must for aftermarket cams. if ya dont have one, you'll get a alittle dip in power in the lower rpms. u'd wanna raise the vtec to at least 4800. when i had itr cams, mine were tuned at 5100
