Default type r head on a gsr block??

what performance would i get if i put a type r head on my gsr block??
would i get more hp and torque or no??

I still dont know why people just post some more info.

the hp and the gain you get will be dependent upon your setup.

what header/intake are yourunning?

if you have a mild setup, expect 10-15whp with tuning.

The most I have seen stock bottom end gsr's run with itr cams is below 170whp

dont expect big gains, espicailly if you are going to alower compression.

i would be willing to say you would get more power with doing higher cr pistons and tuning comapared to just bolting on a itr head

also remember the itr intake manifold does flow better than stock gsr IM

With the stock gsr ecu, he won't see much gain till 6K+, and a little bogging down low.

If you have an ITR head...IMO, just grab the valve train and cams, put them in your GSR head and sell the bare ITR head and gsr head's internals.
