B17 cranks but wont start
I recentley swapped a B17A1 into my 1990 hatch. It ran fine for 2 days. Now it cranks over but will not start. It is getting fuel and spark. Any ideas?
I converted the harness to OBD1.

I had 2 fuel injectors firing in the wrong order because of the wiring diagram I was given. I corrected the problem not it just won't start.

Yes I have a spark. I wired the fuel injectors directly to the pins on the ECU. I also did the same for the distributer. It ran fine but I got really bad gas milage and some back fireing through the intake. This is when I realized the injectors were on the wrong pins. I repalced the cap and rotor too. The spark plugs are soaked in gas when I pull them out.

My bad, I didn't even originally see that you said you had a spark... Did you flip the positive and negative on your TPS... If you didn't remember that DPI is wired backward... 4.5-5.0vdc with the throttle plate closed and ~0.50vdc at WOT... What is your ignition timing at??? I would also check the MAP sensor... Is your vacuum line connected or if you have a throttle body mounted MAP is the port clear... Good Luck
#1 = brown, #2 = red, #3 = blue, and #4 = yellow... The yel/blk ones all trace back to the junction connector which applies 12vdc with the ignition on ACC... It also power up a few other sensors... IAC, oxygen sensor heating elements, etc. It's input from an OBD1 ECU is A25... Good Luck
