Default ctr pistons

will CTR pistons work in a ls block well???? no ls vtec here just strait raw ls.

I think you have to do some custom stuff to your rods. I think.

so it will work and produce power???what would the compression go up to if thats done a freind of mine said it should probably work fine, he has them ina gsr and he said it moved his up about a point in compression. i am looking for good economy idea ways to make power.

it will bring your compression up to 11.4:1, stock is 9.2:1

with that compression, you should be making b16 power, with a lot more torque. you will have to run premium though.

11.71 to 1 if you use a mugen head gasket it will be 12.0 to 1

i'm wrong 11.4 is right but you can get 11.7 with a 2 layer head gasket

I got ctr pistons in my ls block....we shaved 1mm off the bottom of the rod... it works....i'll post my et times with my block after may or june

how does ur car run any negative effects from doing the CTR pistons???? i drive this car daily so driveability is important. this will be for basically a stock block with i/h/e/clutch and stock valvetrain. i just want to make sure it will make enough considerable gains for the price(get dealer price for honda oem parts )
