I have a 94 dx hatch and I am putting in the d16z6 swap. I am curious does the new ecu just plug up, or do i need to splice some wires for the vtec? I have never done this before, just only researched. The swap comes with absolutely everything so let me know if it is just bolt in, plug in, and turn on, or do i need to splice wires.

BTW the setup is d16z6 40k miles with drag t3 turbo kit and spearco intercooler
metal headgasket and ARP head studs with hondata. This is my first swap and im really excited, just tryin to do it right the first time

I believe you will have to splice in 2 vtec wires. The Hybrid honda site has details. Do a google search for hybrid honda, go to their 5th gen section, and the diagrams should be there.
Good luck. I am doing almost the same with my dx coupe in 2 months, but want to build the bottom end. Should be fun!
