I know, there is not tech, and lock it if you want. But I need a TURBO like a ***** needs a dick!! So should I just sell my 17's for 800 bucks and ride on steelies, to pay for my turbo??? I have a dx, slow as all hell..... good idea?

Edit: I like they way my 17 look on my 4 door, but it slowed me down so much....

 

sell the wheels and get a turbo, turbo never goes outa style, I'll trade you your steelies + cash for some 99 gsr's

I think selling the 17's wouldn't be a bad idea, but its all up to whether you want a slow car that you like the look of or a fast car on steelies.

IMO-you can always go back and get some 15's or 16's later if you want the turbo now, but if you will go back and by another set of 17's anyway stick with the rims.

No, I owned 18's back in the day on my old chevy....(don't ask) and they didnt really slow my car down, but these slowed my civ down alot... so I def wont be going back to them, i would most likely go for 15 or 16... i do need the money real bad

What kinda 17's...Are you thinking about goin with a turbo kit or custom turbo? i just finished mine..

 

i say sell the 17's go turbo in the long run you will be much happyer with a turbo setup. 17's only make your car slower

 

They are Axis vpd.. Nankang tires... just got them like 2 months ago, but put them on a couple weeks ago... perfect condition... but of course I felt the need for turbo, and wasnt thinking when i bought these... I was planning on a greddy or apexi kit, but if i can get a cheaper custom... i will.

 

some guy is selling a custom turbo kit in the FI classifieds for around 7-800 with injectors, intercooler and all. He put down 170 whp on his ZC and will bolt right up to your D16...

I'd sell the the 17's, piece together a kit, or buy a used one, and spend the left over money towards some rubber
