so about 3 weeks ago, my gf and i are walking back to my car after a night of clubbing.

first thing i noticed, tail lights were flashing. then as i got closer, i could hear my exhaust. then i saw that my driver side door was open. ignition housing smashed, **** dangling all over the place.

weird thing is, they got it running and they didn't steal it. i still can't figure it out. maybe someone saw them.

anyway, they only took my cds and my girl's bag. not much of a loss. i had a aem intake, carsound cat and about another $500 worth of cds in the trunk that didn't get touched.

moral of the story, i hope their hands get caught in a garbage disposal. final destination style!

next issue, how hard is it to fix the ignition? right now i'm starting it up by sticking my key in the white thing and turning it over. i've looked at it a few times and it LOOKS like i could put it back together if i had the new parts. i'll try to get pics this weekend.

is it harder than it looks? i would really love to save some of the insurance money if possible.
