i heard thAT automatics use NOS better. so i was thinking...

you pull a motor from a automactic 98 LS and ur going to swap it in ur 98 civic all u need is the trans plus the other stuff such as shift linkage, alxes. but im sayin you should be able to an automactica tranny on a b16 ...thats a real sleeper.......can it be done

I heard that Mavis Beacon teaches typing

I'm not one to be rude to people but every post you enter makes me wonder more and more. From the post about your CLK and the Ho to every post you put up that makes no sense. PLEASE think before you post and do a little research!

I guess you don't have to worry about ever tapping off the limiter but first of all an LS tranny has gearing that will make a B16 incredibly slow... Actually just about any motor... Then you bring to the fact that it's an auto and it gets even worse... REALLY REALLY BAD IDEA, in my opinion... As I've said before a manual LS tranny that is "better" for high boost applications hurt my friend's 2.0L B18C turbo motor making 506whp in his daily driven EK... We had to hybridize that LS tranny with ATS gearing to make it work well... I feel that the LS trannies gears are too long unless you're making 600+ whp and even at that point I would still go hybrid... If you decide to do this and squeeze those rings are gonna go bye bye really fast... Think about it... If your car is making power but has such a load on it that it can't rev up it's just goin to displace the power somewhere else... CAN YOU SAY "blow by"... hehe... Oh well, I'm sure most everyone will tell you that it isn't a good idea at all... FOR ANYTHING... Stick with the manual B16 tranny... Peace
